The documentary tells the story of a gay man from Batman, who, due to the discrimination he faces, wants to move to Europe. To illustrate the local perspective on homosexuality, the director conducts street interviews and asks the public what they think about homosexuality.
The gay young man becomes visible in Batman after his identity is revealed in the newspapers, and he faces pressure from both his family and the neighborhood. He shares that his brother had planned to kill him while he was sleeping, influenced by the words of his friends, but his grandfather intervened at the last moment. He expresses the struggles he faces: “Because I didn’t fit the typical masculine model, rumors about me being gay spread, and I was fired from my job.” Seeking a place where he can live freely, without pressure, he plans to migrate to Europe and considers going to Ankara to process his visa. His mother, while upset about being labeled as gay, expresses her hurt pride, yet she cries over the thought of being separated from her son.
