The documentary explores the historical context of Drag Kings in performance art and highlights how Club Casanova became a pioneer in shaping Drag King culture. It showcases how many influential Drag Kings—such as Murray Hill, Dred, and Sir Real—began their careers there. Through archival footage from 1997 and firsthand accounts from performers, the film traces the roots and lasting impact of today’s Drag King movement.
