Director:

On Christmas Eve in 1944, French opera singer Nelly Mousset-Vos sang for fellow prisoners at the Ravensbrück camp when Nadine Hwang asked her to perform a piece from the opera Madama Butterfly. When Nelly sang the song “Un bel dì vedremo,” this moment planted the seeds of a deep love between them. After the war, the two women reunited and emigrated to Venezuela, where they lived their lives together. However, their relationship remained a secret for many years, even from their families. Years later, Sylvie Bianchi discovered her grandmother’s archives and brought this hidden love to light, sharing their story with the world through the documentary.
