Lloyd Wong, Unfinished focuses on the unfinished video project of Lloyd Wong, a Chinese-Canadian artist living with HIV in Toronto during the 1990s. Wong was preparing this project for the television program Toronto Living With AIDS, but he passed away before completing it due to AIDS-related illnesses. Twenty years later, these lost footage were rediscovered in an archive called The ArQuives. Lesley Loksi Chan combined this raw footage with her own research notes to create a film that explores the images inherited from queer community archives and reflects on the meaning of incompletion.
