Directed by Özgün Gündüz, Burcu’s Angels tells the story of a vintage boutique (called Burcu’s Angels) in Vancouver, Canada, that has served as a refuge for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community for over 30 years. The film follows Burcu, the store’s founder and a longtime member of the queer community, as she prepares to say goodbye to the boutique’s final location, capturing the emotional journey and the deep significance the space holds for the community.
