Mansur is a gay Iranian refugee and pharmacist who has lived in Oslo for 18 years. Now, before obtaining asylum in Norway, he wishes to return to Istanbul, where he lived for two years. Classify Me is a film about Mansur’s journey through the Islamic world. It is a personal journey into a world full of conflicting images and taboos. The film explores questions of faith and gender in Islam and aims to collect the unusual stories of Muslim LGBTQ+ individuals.
