Kekre explores diverse experiences of masculinity that fall outside the boundaries of hegemonic masculinity, and how these experiences shape individual identities. Through the personal stories of seven people living in various cities across Türkiye, the film reveals that masculinity is not a one-size-fits-all concept and sheds light on the challenges faced by those who don’t conform to dominant norms. While questioning the concept of masculinity, the film offers an intimate portrayal of the pressures imposed by gender norms and the personal struggles to resist them.
