Born into a Mormon family and raised as “Jonathan,” Jessica felt from a young age that she was a girl. However, due to her religious beliefs and her family’s expectations, she was forced to suppress her true identity for many years. In her youth, Jessica served as a Mormon missionary, got married, had children, and later joined the military, serving as a military police officer and special agent.
