Who’s Gonna Love Me Now?

Who’s Gonna Love Me Now?

The documentary, co-directed by Tomer Heymann and Barak Heymann, tells the story of Saar Maoz, a gay Israeli man. After discovering he is HIV positive, Saar builds a new life in London, where he becomes a member of the London Gay Men’s Chorus. However, throughout the film, his emotional struggles—marked by a deep longing, his complex relationship with his family, confrontation with his religious and cultural background, and journey toward self-acceptance—are explored in depth. The documentary offers not only a powerful personal transformation story but also a universal narrative about family, belonging, acceptance, and love.
